Job Summary

This role involves steering and coordinating IT service requests and orders for the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG). As an IT Service and Requirements Manager, you will manage the service catalog, perform quality assurance, and act as a critical interface between departments, IT operations, and external service providers. Your daily tasks include optimizing ITSM processes according to ITIL standards, overseeing complex IT migration and digitalization projects, and contributing to the development of Enterprise Service Management (ESM) using Matrix42. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable IT-related field; alternatively, a completed IT vocational training with additional professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Service Management or IT Requirements Management
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
  • Experience in coordinating IT service orders, prioritization, and escalation management
  • Experience in managing interfaces between technical departments and IT operations
  • Experience with IT security and compliance standards, specifically BSI IT-Grundschutz
