Job Summary
As a DevOps Engineer for the Aesculap division, you will play a critical role in the Research and Development department by designing, implementing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality and delivery efficiency. Your daily responsibilities include managing and scaling infrastructure in development and production environments, automating repetitive tasks, and implementing robust monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and security. You will work within a dynamic, agile team, collaborating closely with developers, architects, and product owners to drive continuous process improvement. This position is unique for its integration into the healthcare technology sector, offering the chance to work with modern cloud and container technologies like Azure and Kubernetes in a mission-critical environment. The role requires a presence of at least 50% at one of the company's locations in Tuttlingen, Berlin, or Essen, providing a balanced hybrid work model.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional training and experience in IT.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in DevOps and IT infrastructure management
- Proven experience in developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and automating build, test, and deployment processes
- Practical experience with containerization and cloud platforms, specifically Azure
- Experience in implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions
- Experience in the healthcare industry or a comparable sector is preferred
