Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Macromolecular Chemistry (IOMC) involves a unique blend of laboratory technical support and administrative management. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for chemical inventory management, procurement of laboratory supplies, and financial processing within SAP. On the technical side, you will perform sample preparations and measurements using Elemental Analysis, GC/GC-MS, and refractive index testing. You will also oversee student assistants and maintain the institute's web presence. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Laboratory Assistant, State-certified Technician, or equivalent qualification. Additional commercial training (e.g., Office Management) is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Chemical Technical Assistant, Laboratory Technician, or State-certified Technician
  • Professional experience in commercial or administrative fields such as office management or public administration is highly desirable
  • Experience in laboratory measurement techniques including GC-MS and elemental analysis
  • Experience with SAP software for accounting and cost center management
  • Proven experience in organizational tasks and independent workflow management
