Job Summary

This PhD position at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB) offers a unique opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in the emerging field of dietary immunology. Working within the research group of Christoph Wilhelm, the successful candidate will investigate how specific diets and metabolites regulate immune cells, specifically T cells and innate lymphoid cells (ILC). The day-to-day role involves conducting experiments using mouse models, transcriptomics, and advanced technologies such as imaging flow cytometry, metabolomics, and extracellular flux analysis. A key focus is identifying dietary intervention strategies to reverse inflammation in conditions like diabetes. This role is ideal for a motivated scientist looking to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application. Required Skills
