This role at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences is central to the digital transformation of higher education. As an IT Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, supporting both students and faculty with digital and AI-supported teaching, learning, and examination scenarios. Your day-to-day work involves administering media and event infrastructure, maintaining computer technology, and assisting in the implementation of multilingual digital exam formats. You will also play a key role in building and testing digital scheduling tools and providing user training for new educational technologies. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed university degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Media Technology, or Media Pedagogy).
Experience
- Professional experience in IT and media technology
- Experience in First and Second Level Support, specifically in media technology and e-learning
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in a university or higher education environment
- Experience in the use of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in consulting, training, and the mediation of media-didactic competencies
- Proven track record in the conceptualization and implementation of digitalization projects
Languages
Additional
- Candidates with degrees from outside the EU must provide a German translation and a Statement of Comparability from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) or an ANABIN extract. Professional qualifications from outside Germany require official German recognition (BIBB).
