Job Summary

This role involves the end-to-end development of electronic assemblies and devices, taking projects from initial concept to full-scale production. Based in Dresden, you will join an innovative EMS service provider where you will design circuit diagrams, create PCB layouts using Altium Designer, and develop test scripts in Python. Your daily activities will include hardware commissioning, signal quality measurements, and troubleshooting at the component level. You will also collaborate closely with manufacturing teams and customers to optimize hardware for cost and manufacturability. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys a mix of analog/digital hardware design and embedded C programming. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of analog and digital hardware
  • Proven experience in PCB development and layout management
  • Practical experience in embedded programming using C, specifically with STM32 microcontrollers
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical development documentation
  • Experience in hardware commissioning, verification, and error analysis at the system and component level
