Job Summary

As a Test Engineer for Driveability in the eMobility sector, you will be responsible for applying start-up and shifting strategies across various alternative drivetrains, ranging from light to heavy-duty truck series. Your daily activities involve managing the functional testing of transmissions and drive units, covering everything from initial planning and prototype commissioning to final reporting and release. You will play a critical role in the small-series electric drive project, analyzing complex E/E systems and troubleshooting serial production issues. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with internal departments, group partners, and suppliers. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive) or a related technical field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the analysis of complex E/E systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge in vehicle technology, specifically data bus systems and electrical architecture
  • Practical experience in the field of electromobility and electronic networks
  • Experience in applying start-up and shifting strategies for heavy-duty or commercial vehicles
  • Proven track record in functional testing of transmissions and drive units
  • Experience in serial production support and error elimination

Additional
