Job Summary
As an IT Support Technician in Mannheim, you will manage the IT infrastructure across multiple locations, handling the installation and maintenance of laptops, PCs, and servers. Your daily routine involves providing both remote and on-site support, troubleshooting technical issues for mobile devices, and managing Thin Client and ChromeBox systems. You will also play a key role in documenting incidents within a ticketing system and contributing to international IT projects. This role is ideal for proactive problem-solvers who enjoy a mix of hardware setup and software troubleshooting. The position offers a modern work environment with flexible hours, mobile work options, and 30 days of vacation. It is initially a contract-to-hire arrangement through an agency, providing a clear path to permanent employment with a competitive salary of up to €47,000 per year.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support
- Experience in administering IT infrastructure across multiple sites
- Practical experience with hardware installations and technical troubleshooting
- Experience in documenting technical issues within ticketing systems
- Experience supporting international IT projects is beneficial
