Job Summary
This part-time Research Associate position at the Institute for Biomechanics Research and Teaching offers a unique opportunity to engage in translational research within the fields of trauma surgery and orthopedics. Based in Murnau, you will be responsible for planning and executing multicenter research projects, including the histological processing of human tissue samples, immunohistochemical analyses, and microbiological investigations of biofilms on implants. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biomedicine, Molecular Medicine, Biotechnology, or a related field).
Experience
- Professional experience in histological techniques, including paraffin sectioning and immunohistochemistry
- Practical experience in developing and performing ELISA assays
- Experience in sterile laboratory work under safety cabinets
- Experience in the execution and coordination of clinical studies is preferred
- Experience in statistical evaluation and critical interpretation of research data
- Experience in presenting research at international conferences and publishing in scientific journals
