Job Summary
As a Technical Service Manager, you will oversee the status of service measures within your area of responsibility, ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance and installation projects for power plant components. Your daily routine involves coordinating project teams, communicating with clients, and adjusting outage planning based on real-time site conditions. You will be responsible for organizing essential resources, including personnel, tools, and spare parts, while maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards. This role is central to the planning, steering, and implementation of service projects for generators and turbines, requiring a balance of technical oversight and project management. The position is particularly attractive due to its high level of responsibility in the energy transition sector, offering a mix of site-based coordination and strategic planning within a global leader in sustainable energy technology.
Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical and plant engineering, preferably in a service environment
- In-depth knowledge in the service of generators and/or gas turbines and their auxiliary systems
- Experience in the planning and execution of revisions/overhauls
- Practical experience working on construction sites
- Basic knowledge of project management principles
