Job Summary

As a Tax Manager focused on VAT at DKV Mobility, you will join a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payment solutions. Your daily responsibilities involve preparing and submitting complex value-added tax returns, including multi-year corrections and post-audit adjustments. You will serve as a high-level advisor for domestic and international group companies on national and international VAT law, while also managing external consultants across various jurisdictions. This role is highly dynamic, requiring you to prepare tax opinions, support legal appeals, and lead special projects such as integrating new business areas or implementing legislative changes. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to take a leading role in the digitalization of tax processes within the department. The role offers significant flexibility through a 60/40 hybrid working model and the option for full-time or part-time arrangements (minimum 30 hours/week), based in modern offices in Ratingen.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Finance with above-average success.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in tax consulting or within an international corporate environment
  • Professional experience in handling complex VAT returns and multi-year corrections
  • Experience in advising international group companies on national and international tax law
  • Experience in managing special tax projects and integrating new business fields
  • Proven experience in digitalizing tax processes and supporting digital workflows
