Job Summary

As a Metrology Technician, you will serve as the central point of contact for all departments regarding the application and procurement of testing and measurement equipment. Your daily responsibilities include organizing external calibration services, ensuring proper labeling of instruments, and maintaining detailed documentation within a central database. You will be responsible for creating calibration guidelines based on current standards and directives, conducting regular inspections, and supporting both internal and external audits. A key part of the role involves monitoring processes until release, blocking non-compliant equipment when necessary, and generating reports to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
