Job Summary

This role involves working at the Federal Police Headquarters in Potsdam to ensure the resilience of Germany's largest security agency. As a Strategic Emergency Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and development of IT emergency management systems based on BSI standards and ISO 22301. Your tasks include creating technical guidelines, drafting document templates, and coordinating emergency manuals and concepts across various departments. You will also evaluate emergency response exercises and contribute to the agency's broader crisis management framework. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or a comparable technical field. Alternatively, a minimum of three years of vocational training combined with relevant experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience or proven knowledge in IT Emergency Management/BCM according to BSI and ISO 22301 standards
  • Experience in emergency management and crisis response coordination
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience required if applying with a vocational qualification instead of a degree
