Job Summary

This is a unique leadership opportunity as the Head of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Workshop for the German Federal Police in Rosenheim, overseeing operations across regional branches including Munich and Deggendorf. The primary responsibility is ensuring the constant operational readiness of critical police ICT assets. Day-to-day duties involve the personnel and technical management of the workshop, focusing on the installation, maintenance, repair, and configuration of specialized mobile and stationary digital communication systems (BOS/TETRA), IT hardware, and complex network infrastructure, including fiber optics. The role also requires expertise in electrical systems maintenance within police vehicles and adherence to VDE standards. Beyond technical oversight, the Head is responsible for budgeting, financial planning, and advising regional police units on technical feasibility. Crucially, the successful candidate must be willing to be hired as a Police Executive Officer following a successful suitability selection process, which includes mandatory police-specific training.
