Job Summary

This role involves managing the IT infrastructure and driving digital transformation for the LWL Building and Property Management department. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of IT hardware and software, including procurement, inventory, and user support for tools like Confluence and Document Management Systems (DMS). A significant portion of the role focuses on active digitalization: performing business process analyses, identifying optimization potentials, and supporting the implementation of new technologies such as AI and BIM. You will also play a key role in IT security, ensuring compliance with data protection standards, and managing operational disruptions. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of technical administration and strategic project work within a stable public service environment. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma/Bachelor) in Computer Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician) with extensive relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT management or digitalization roles
  • Experience in IT project management, preferably focusing on digitalization projects
  • Professional experience in process management and process optimization
  • Experience in managing IT hardware, software, and collaboration solutions
  • Experience in conducting workshops, meetings, and technical training sessions
