Job Summary

As an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer at BARMER, you will play a critical role in securing and managing the digital identities of over 15,000 employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the smooth operation of complex IT systems, specifically focusing on Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD). You will configure hybrid identity solutions using Entra ID Connect, manage Conditional Access policies, and oversee Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations. Beyond maintenance, you will collaborate with Solution Architects to define frameworks for system operations and automate provisioning processes using PowerShell. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy working in a heterogeneous IT landscape with high security standards. The position offers significant flexibility, including the choice of working from over 30 locations across Germany, a 38-hour work week, and extensive vacation time, all while contributing to the healthcare stability of millions of people.
