As a Scientific Project Coordinator at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, you will lead the scientific and administrative coordination of the DFG-funded Research Training Group (GRK2498). Your daily responsibilities include managing personnel documents, overseeing budget and financial records in compliance with state regulations, and serving as a central liaison between university administration and research institutions. You will be responsible for preparing reporting documents in English, organizing internal meetings and public symposia, and maintaining the project's digital presence. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Master's level or equivalent); a degree in natural sciences is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience with the core aspects of structured natural science doctoral programs
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational and administrative coordination tasks
  • Proven experience with local administrative structures of the Martin Luther University (MLU)
  • Professional experience in PC-based data management and presentation
  • Experience in handling reporting to project funding agencies
