Job Summary
This role involves the professional support and strategic development of a comprehensive SAP system shared between the Universities of Mannheim and Freiburg. You will be a key player in the digital transformation of the university's IT infrastructure, specifically focusing on the migration to S/4HANA. Day-to-day, you will manage and optimize SAP modules such as FI, FI-AA, and OpenText-VIM, while maintaining the common 'University Master' system. You will act as a bridge between module owners and key users to prioritize requirements and optimize end-to-end processes. The position offers a high degree of autonomy within a stable public service environment, emphasizing work-life balance through flexible hours and mobile work options. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments
- In-depth knowledge in central SAP modules, specifically FI, FI-AA, or OpenText-VIM
- Experience in complex software development or implementation projects
- Professional experience working in heterogeneous team environments

- The position is initially limited until April 30, 2029, with the aim of permanent employment thereafter. Located in Mannheim city center. Willingness to participate in cross-university collaborative projects is required.
