Job Summary

As a Lead Software Architect (Architecture Owner) for the German Federal Pension Insurance (DRV Bund), you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and implementation of critical software using Java EE and Angular within an agile framework. Your day-to-day involves designing application architectures, overseeing database development in Oracle environments, and ensuring rigorous quality standards through unit, integration, and system testing. You will act as a key point of contact for stakeholder management and escalation, performing incident and performance analyses while refining user stories. This role is particularly attractive as it offers a secure, permanent public service position (TV EntgO-DRV) in Berlin, contributing to the social security system of Germany. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in IT, or completed vocational IT training with skills and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's level.

Experience

  • Several years of task-relevant professional experience in the IT sector, specifically with CEP.net
  • Extensive practical experience with complex development, release, and operating environments (specifically EFGV)
  • Long-term experience in frontend web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Proven experience in designing, communicating, and implementing application architectures
  • Practical experience with agile scaling frameworks, particularly SAFe 6.0
  • Experience in continuous assessment of usability, code quality, and application performance
