Job Summary
As a Geoinformatics Solutions Developer in the Digital Lab, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital future of the German Autobahn. Your daily responsibilities will involve integrating and modeling complex 3D data sources, developing algorithms for data-based analysis, and building robust data infrastructures including web portals and databases. You will work at the cutting edge of digital transformation, creating innovative applications for predictive maintenance and construction monitoring using AI and Big Data. The role bridges technical development and strategic planning, as you will develop prototypes (MVPs) for GIS/BIM systems and AR/VR visualizations while also leading requirement workshops and representing the organization in national technical committees. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on software development and high-level technical conceptualization within a stable, federal-owned enterprise environment.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or University Diploma in Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering Informatics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in geoinformatics, civil engineering informatics, or a related digital field
- Proven experience in software development and data modeling
- Experience in developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs)
- Experience with GIS technologies, web services, and data interfaces
- Experience in technical requirement engineering and conducting professional workshops
