Job Summary
As a Field Service Engineer for network components, you will join a leading international IT systems house specializing in enterprise, carrier, and data center networks. Your daily responsibilities include the independent installation and commissioning of network hardware across Southern Germany and the Frankfurt area. This involves physical assembly, cabling, and ensuring proper power supply for high-tech systems. You will also be responsible for documenting all technical processes within the company's ticket system. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical professional who enjoys field work and direct customer interaction. The position offers an attractive package including full IT equipment (laptop and smartphone), tailored training programs, and a corporate culture with flat hierarchies. Initially starting as a temporary assignment, there is a clear option for permanent takeover by the client company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training (e.g., IT Systems Electronician, Information Electronician, or Electrician for Energy and Building Technology). Must be a certified Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft).
Experience
- Professional experience in technical fields such as IT systems electronics or information electronics
- Practical experience in the installation and commissioning of network hardware
- Experience in cabling and power supply for technical components
- Proven track record of working independently in a customer-oriented environment
- Experience with ticket systems for process documentation
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is mandatory. High willingness to travel within Southern Germany and the Frankfurt am Main region is required.
