Job Summary
This role bridges the gap between production operations and the IT service desk, focusing on the maintenance and reliability of shopfloor hardware. As a Hardware Production Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on exchange of scanners, terminals, and other essential hardware components to ensure smooth production workflows. Your daily tasks include inspecting cables, checking connections, restarting devices, and documenting technical errors to escalate to the IT service desk or maintenance teams. The position is ideal for individuals with a background in crafts, assembly, or logistics who enjoy practical technical troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
Technical vocational training or basic technical qualification in a craft, industrial, or logistics field is implied.
Experience
- Professional experience in crafts, production, assembly, warehouse technology, or facility management
- Practical experience in handling, connecting, and testing technical devices and cables
- Experience in documenting technical error patterns and coordinating with service desks
- Previous experience as a production worker, technical assistant, or service technician is advantageous
