Job Summary
As an IT Coordinator for a major child and youth welfare organization in Lower Saxony, you will serve as the central link between internal departments and external service providers. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating system houses and software partners, managing server infrastructure, and overseeing IT security environments such as Sophos firewalls. You will play a pivotal role in planning and executing IT projects, specifically focusing on cloud migrations and the development of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). This role is uniquely designed for professional growth, offering a clear path toward a team leadership position after a comprehensive onboarding period. Joining a team of three IT professionals, you will balance technical administration with strategic coordination in a stable, value-driven non-profit environment that prioritizes meaningful work and professional development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable vocational IT training qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT administration or coordination
- Proven experience managing external IT service providers and system houses
- Practical experience in IT project management, specifically cloud migrations
- Experience in the non-profit or charitable sector is preferred
- Initial experience or strong potential for team leadership and coordination
