Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to actively shape the digital revolution within the healthcare sector as part of the GFO Group's DiMIT department. Based in Troisdorf-Spich and surrounding clinic locations, you will join an OnSite Support team during a major IT rollout phase. Your day-to-day responsibilities focus on the physical exchange of over 1,000 client devices, including the setup, connection, and commissioning of new workstations. You will also handle the decommissioning and packaging of legacy hardware while conducting functional tests on monitors, keyboards, and network connectivity. This position is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in a large-scale IT environment. It provides a deep look into how IT-supported processes function behind the scenes in a complex healthcare organization. You will work closely with experienced professionals, acting as a point of contact for users and ensuring that hardware transitions are documented accurately and efficiently.

Required Skills

Education

Enrolled student, ideally in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical degree program.

Experience

  • Professional experience or basic technical understanding of computer workstations and hardware
  • Experience in independent and reliable task execution
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or providing user support with a friendly demeanor
  • Experience in organizational tasks and structured documentation

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to travel between various clinic locations in the Troisdorf area. Position is limited to a duration of approximately two months starting in May.
