Job Summary

This role involves supporting the large-scale 'Danube Expansion' project, which focuses on improving navigation conditions and flood protection along a 70-kilometer stretch of the Danube River. Working for the Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration (GDWS) in Würzburg, you will provide technical oversight from the planning and approval phases through to implementation. Key responsibilities include reviewing design and budget documents, advising approval authorities, and managing tenders and contract supplements. You will also contribute to program planning and resource management while ensuring ecological compensation measures are integrated.
