Job Summary

The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) is seeking a Windows Client Administrator to join their Maritime Data Center team in either Hamburg or Rostock. In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment and operation of over 3,000 Windows clients, including virtual machines, PCs, and notebooks. Your daily tasks will involve software packaging, update monitoring, and second-level support using Microsoft System Center products and PowerShell scripting. You will also manage Microsoft Cloud services like Entra, Teams, and Intune, while contributing to IT security concepts based on BSI standards. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/FH-Diploma) in Computer Science or a comparable field; alternatively, equivalent professional experience (minimum 3 years) or recognition as a 'Sonstiger Beschäftigter' under federal collective agreements.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the installation, administration, and management of Windows clients and software deployment
  • Professional experience in PowerShell script development and maintenance
  • Experience in providing second-level technical support and ticket processing
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Windows Client Administrator required if no university degree is held
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud service administration and user support

Additional
