Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of new machine types using IEC 61131-3 programming languages. Your daily activities involve designing and implementing flexible, future-proof software architectures for machine control systems and further developing a modular automation framework to increase efficiency. You will coordinate technical requirements throughout the development phase, collaborate closely with internal departments, and perform error diagnosis and optimization of existing control programs. A unique aspect of this role is the combination of high-level software architecture design with hands-on international support, including conducting user training and service assignments worldwide. The position offers a high degree of flexibility through mobile working options and the opportunity to work with modern tools like B&R Automation Studio and JIRA within a structured GAMP-compliant documentation environment.
