Job Summary
This role involves the technical processing and management of electrical energy supply and distribution systems for the Federal Office of Infrastructure, Environmental Protection, and Services of the Bundeswehr in Kiel. You will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational data, creating technical optimization specifications for electrical systems, and coordinating energy concepts for various properties. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing construction documents, supervising technical personnel, and ensuring compliance with technical regulations. This position is unique as it offers the opportunity for civil servant status (Verbeamtung) within a secure public sector environment. It is ideal for an electrical engineer who enjoys a mix of technical analysis, project oversight, and advisory work. Required Skills
Education
Completed university or technical college degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on energy technology
- At least 2 years of experience or specific qualifications in technical regulations and VDE standards
- Experience in economic and sustainable construction is desired
- Experience in public procurement law or infrastructure procedures within a public administration context is preferred

- Must be a German citizen according to Article 116 of the Basic Law. Must support the free democratic basic order. Must pass a medical recruitment examination. Willingness for regular business travel is required. For civil servant status, candidates should generally not have reached the age of 50 at the time of appointment.
