Job Summary

This role involves the technical design, specification, and integration of critical offshore equipment including helidecks, thermal and acoustic insulation, and material handling systems. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance with technical specifications, data sheets, and layouts while reviewing 3D models and drawings to ensure seamless interface coordination. A significant portion of the day-to-day involves supplier management, ranging from issuing RFQs and conducting technical comparisons to overseeing Factory and Site Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT). You will also act as a primary point of contact for classification societies and regulatory authorities to ensure all installations meet rigorous maritime standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Shipbuilding, Civil Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in topsides, offshore equipment, or maritime plant planning
  • Practical experience working with relevant maritime regulations and standards such as DNV, NORSOK, and SOLAS
  • Experience in the technical layout of helidecks, insulation systems, and specialized doors/hatches
  • Proven track record in supplier management and technical document review
