Job Summary
As an IT System Administrator for the City of Stadtlohn, you will play a vital role in maintaining and evolving a modern, secure IT infrastructure for a public service provider. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the administration of servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments, as well as the installation and maintenance of hardware and software. You will be responsible for implementing IT security concepts, managing specialized municipal software, and providing 1st and 2nd-level support to staff. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys independent work and wants to actively shape municipal digitalization. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an IT environment
- Professional experience in server, network, and storage administration
- Experience in the implementation of IT security and backup concepts
- Experience with municipal specialized procedures or public service is preferred
- Experience in hardware and software configuration and maintenance

- Class B driver's license required. Must be willing to work outside of standard office hours if necessary. Permanent full-time position located in Stadtlohn, Germany.
