Job Summary

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the digital infrastructure of a regional utility provider. Your daily responsibilities will involve monitoring the security landscape to identify threats early, managing incident response measures to ensure rapid recovery, and administering key security tools like Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel. You will be responsible for connecting new systems to the SIEM architecture and collaborating closely with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service providers. Additionally, you will operate the Tenable vulnerability management system to prioritize and mitigate risks. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Proven experience in the administration of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing security incidents and SIEM solutions, specifically Microsoft Sentinel
  • Extensive expertise in the areas of IT and Cloud Security
