Job Summary
This senior leadership role at hkk Krankenkasse involves overseeing the Insurance and Contribution Management division, managing three department heads and over 360 employees. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of insurance law, contribution management, and corporate services, including legal appeals and litigation. Day-to-day, you will analyze legislative changes in German social security law, represent the organization in national committees such as the GKV-Spitzenverband, and drive the digitalization and automation of business processes. This position is ideal for a strategic leader who excels at the intersection of law, finance, and organizational development. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Economics, or a related field; or a completed vocational training as a Social Insurance Specialist with advanced certification as a Health Insurance Specialist or Health Insurance Business Administrator.
Experience
- Several years of experience in a leadership position within a statutory health insurance company or a related organization in the GKV sector
- Proven experience in managing large-scale teams and departmental leaders
- Extensive experience in insurance and contribution law and related regulatory frameworks
- Professional experience in strategic organizational development and digital transformation
- Experience representing organizational interests in high-level specialist committees
