Job Summary

As a Key Account Manager for the Automotive Industry at Beckhoff Automation, you will serve as the central point of contact for major global clients, focusing on deepening existing relationships and driving strategic growth. You will be responsible for the holistic sales of Beckhoff’s product portfolio, including industrial PCs, I/O components, drive technology, and automation software. Your daily activities will involve coordinating international customer projects alongside technical departments, negotiating framework agreements, and presenting complex system solutions at various business levels. This role is ideal for technical sales professionals who enjoy building long-term partnerships and traveling internationally. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field; alternatively, a qualification as a state-certified technician.

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in technical sales, ideally within industrial automation, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
  • Professional experience in a technical role within automation technology for plant and machinery construction
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with decision-makers at large-scale key accounts
  • Experience in negotiating framework agreements, conditions, and managing offer processes
  • Experience in analyzing complex technical requirements and developing individual solution offers
