Job Summary

This role within the MED Data department focuses on supporting the Medical Faculty in building and operating modern IT and data infrastructures for research. As a Computer Scientist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and further development of medical IT applications and systems. Key tasks include building a research data platform, analyzing and resolving technical disruptions, and managing interfaces such as REST, FHIR, and HL7. You will also work on integrating data from various clinical source systems like KIS, LIS, and PACS while automating technical workflows. Required Skills

Education

University or Fachhochschule (FH) degree in Computer Science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in an IT environment such as IT support, application management, or system administration
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of IT systems
  • Practical experience or strong interest in API technologies and database systems
  • Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation is preferred
  • Experience working in collaborative environments with internal and external partners
