Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Electrical Engineering Technician or Master Electrician to join the Technical Supply Center at Ulm University. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair coordination of critical electrical infrastructure, including transformers and various switchgear, ensuring the continuous and reliable power supply to the university and surrounding hospitals. Key responsibilities involve commissioning, operating, maintaining, and decommissioning electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical faults, and participating in an on-call rotation. If you are a Master Electrician, you will also lead a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with energy supply facilities or building services in large institutions, and knowledge of control, regulation, and building management systems.
