Job Summary

This role centers on transforming global manufacturing networks into data-guided operations by bringing industrial AI directly to the shopfloor. As a Data Scientist, you will lead digitalization projects, ranging from custom solution development to the evaluation of third-party offerings. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing manufacturing, machine, and process data to improve efficiency, quality, and delivery performance. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of AI models, including machine connectivity, data engineering, and MLOps within a cloud-native manufacturing data platform. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a consultant to factories, conducting ideation workshops and promoting a data-first mentality across the organization. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Data Science or a related technical field

Experience

  • Many years of professional experience in manufacturing and digitalization
  • Hands-on experience in machine learning and data science applications
  • Experience in analyzing manufacturing, machine, and process data (specifically PCBA and cabinet production)
  • Proven experience in leading digitalization and AI projects
  • Experience with MLOps and cloud-native data platforms
