As an IT Systems Engineer for Remote Support at Siemens Healthineers, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth clinical operations of healthcare providers across the EMEA region. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing high-quality technical support for clinical imaging software, coordinating system updates with internal and external partners, and acting as a consultant for IT system integration and interface design. The position offers significant flexibility with up to 60% mobile work within Germany and options for short-term remote work from abroad. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Medicine (with IT affinity). Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or completed vocational training/further education combined with several years of relevant IT professional experience.
Experience
- Initial professional experience in customer IT support, specifically with imaging devices and clinical workflows
- Several years of relevant work experience in the IT sector if applying with a Bachelor's degree or vocational training
- Experience in implementing interfaces for third-party applications, preferably in a clinical environment
- Proven experience in handling multiple support requests simultaneously with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- Experience in intercultural collaboration is highly desirable
Languages
Additional
- The role requires fluency in English plus either Spanish or German. The position is fixed-term for 2 years. Candidates must be available for a shift rotation (early/late shifts) every three weeks and weekend duty twice per year. Locations available: Erlangen (Germany), Romania, Poland, Portugal, or Paris (France).
