Job Summary
As a Construction Project Manager for the Municipality of Schöffengrund, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects according to the HOAI (Official Scale of Fees for Services by Architects and Engineers). Your day-to-day duties involve managing new builds, renovations, and maintenance projects, specifically including the construction of fire stations. You will handle the entire lifecycle of public projects, from conducting tenders and awarding contracts to final billing and budget control. A key part of the role involves supervising external planning offices and implementing municipal heat planning initiatives. This position is ideal for a civil engineer or technician who enjoys working autonomously within a public administration setting. Required Skills
Education
University or Technical College degree in Civil Engineering; alternatively, a qualification as a state-certified technician specializing in civil engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in road construction or civil engineering is preferred
- Experience in managing all HOAI service phases for new construction and maintenance
- Experience in public sector tendering and contract awarding processes
- Proven experience in supervising external planning and engineering firms
- Experience in budget planning and financial control within a project environment

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to attend committee meetings outside of standard working hours. Employment is initially fixed-term for five years.
