Job Summary

This role is based at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) within the Chair of iPS Cells and Neurodegenerative Diseases. As a Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in characterizing mouse models for neurodegenerative diseases like ALS and FTD. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mouse genotyping, sample preparation via cryosectioning, and performing immunofluorescence and fluorescence microscopy to analyze spinal cord sections and motor neurons. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating the efficacy of novel AAV-based gene therapeutics.
