Job Summary

This role involves performing critical non-destructive testing (NDT) on hydraulic components, including cylinders and fiber-composite solutions, at Liebherr-Components Kirchdorf GmbH. The successful candidate will conduct visual, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing (VT, MT, UT) on components and welded joints, ensuring all parts meet strict international standards and customer specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating test results, documenting findings in detailed reports, and collaborating closely with the production and welding technology departments to support quality-related decisions. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as a Materials Tester, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent). Additional certification as a tester according to DIN EN ISO 9712 in VT, MT, and UT methods is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the quality inspection of welded or mechanically machined components such as cylinder tubes or piston rods
  • Practical experience in handling testing equipment, measuring instruments, and generating test reports
  • Experience working within a structured production environment in collaboration with welding technology teams
