Job Summary
As an AI & Automation Specialist based in Essen, you will play a pivotal role in transforming manual workflows into efficient, automated processes for a large service group. Your daily responsibilities will involve identifying high-impact use cases, conducting deep process analyses, and developing end-to-end solutions—ranging from AI-supported workflows and chatbots to API integrations and RPA. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these projects, from initial prototyping and MVP development to full-scale production. This role is highly strategic, offering significant creative freedom to shape the company's AI roadmap while collaborating closely with IT, data protection, and operational departments. The position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract, hybrid work model (2 days home office), and a competitive salary range of €75,000 to €85,000, complemented by extensive corporate benefits and professional development opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
University degree or equivalent qualification in Business, IT, or Digitalization.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in digital transformation, process optimization, or digitalization projects
- Proven track record in process analysis, specifically identifying pain points and translating them into technical use cases
- Practical experience in implementing or prototyping AI and automation solutions
- Experience managing external partners and service providers
- Experience communicating and presenting to specialized departments, IT teams, and senior management
