Job Summary
As an IT Systems DevOps Engineer at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU), you will join the Server and Basic Systems working group to build the foundation of the university's IT landscape. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning, configuring, and optimizing complex backend IT systems, with a particular focus on Windows server environments. You will drive automation using tools like PowerShell, Python, and Ansible, while managing second-level incidents and implementing change management strategies. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or FH-Diploma) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Natural Sciences with an IT focus, or equivalent professional experience.

- Professional experience in IT server landscapes and associated infrastructure technologies
- Professional experience in automated system administration and scripting
- Experience in IT service management and system security design
- Experience in handling 2nd level incidents and cross-system problem analysis
