Job Summary
As a Data Product Engineer, you will shape the future of data management in the retail sector by developing scalable, high-quality data products within a modern Data Mesh architecture. Your daily responsibilities include building modular data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and establishing best practices for data contracts. You will work closely with Domain Managers and Data Product Owners to translate complex business requirements into technical designs while ensuring code quality through CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of software engineering and deep data analysis. The position offers a high degree of creative freedom in a modern tech stack featuring Snowflake, dbt, and Kafka. - Professional experience in building modern data pipelines and data products
- Proven experience in efficient and robust data modeling using SQL, Python, dbt, and Snowflake
- Experience with modern engineering workflows including Git, CI/CD, and Terraform
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical data designs and models
- Experience with Spark or Snowpark is considered a plus
