Job Summary

This role involves working for a global leader in the pharmaceutical and crop science industry, focusing on the maintenance and operational reliability of complex technical systems. As an Industrial Electrician, you will perform day-to-day maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Process Control Technology (PLT) and electrotechnical components. Your responsibilities include identifying and troubleshooting malfunctions, setting up field devices, and conducting functional checks on safety and monitoring systems. A significant part of the role involves documentation within SAP and managing permit-to-work procedures. This position is particularly attractive due to its placement within a DAX 40 company, offering competitive compensation under the chemical industry collective agreement (Chemietarif), a structured 37.5-hour work week, and up to 30 days of vacation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a qualified electrician (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Practical experience in the application of relevant VDE standards
  • Experience working with automation systems such as ABB Freelance or Siemens S7
  • Experience in maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial electrical components
  • Experience with permit-to-work procedures and technical documentation
