Job Summary

This part-time position at Stadtwerke Energie Jena-Pößneck focuses on shaping the future of regional energy supply through advanced data science. As a Machine Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of data projects, from designing and operating scalable data pipelines for energy-specific metrics—such as load profiles, market prices, and weather data—to developing and optimizing ML models for forecasting and anomaly detection. You will deploy these models in virtualized environments and ensure high data quality through continuous monitoring. The role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with departments like Energy Procurement and Risk Management to evaluate new technologies. Required Skills

Education

  • Professional experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
