Job Summary

As an IT Asset Administrator at Berliner Wasserbetriebe, Germany's largest water and wastewater management company, you will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets for a workforce of over 4,800 employees. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and correcting IT inventory datasets, performing regular controlling and reporting, and reconciling target versus actual stocks using specialized IT asset management tools and SAP. You will also oversee the procurement, decommissioning, and environmentally compliant disposal of electronic waste in accordance with GDPR and KRITIS regulations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to coordinate with external service providers and internal departments. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration with a focus on Informatics. Alternatively, a completed vocational training with further qualification as an IT Professional or Informatics Specialist.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT asset lifecycle management, including procurement, support, and disposal.
  • Practical experience in data correction, controlling, and reporting within an IT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with SAP and IT asset management tools.
  • Experience in managing external service providers and ensuring regulatory compliance (GDPR/Environmental).
  • Proven track record in customer-oriented service and collaborative teamwork.
