On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will operate, program, and optimize Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) high-vacuum coating systems. The role bridges the gap between technical design and production, requiring the calculation of thin-film layer designs and the adaptation of customer requirements into optical components. Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a technical point of contact for customers during development phases and collaborate closely with commercial departments for quotes. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Technician or a university degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation and programming of PVD coating systems
- Experience in technical optics or vacuum technology is highly advantageous
- Experience in calculating and designing optical layer structures
- Experience in technical customer consulting during the development phase
- Experience in collaborative proposal preparation with commercial departments
