Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize critical IT systems for a major clinical group specializing in psychiatry and neurology. As an IT Application Support Specialist, you will take full responsibility for the Forensic Information System (FIS), handling everything from technical administration and configuration to complex 2nd and 3rd-level troubleshooting. Your daily tasks will include managing user roles and permissions, administering specialized communication tools like the 'beBPo' electronic mailbox, and ensuring the functionality of emergency workstations and telematics infrastructure. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a strategic consultant for IT planning and construction projects, collaborating closely with clinic management to align technology with clinical needs. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on system administration and process optimization within a meaningful healthcare environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration); a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT system integration or application support
  • Extensive experience in the operation and administration of complex specialist applications in a clinical environment
  • Proven knowledge of clinical information systems, specifically ORBIS, including document and form customization
  • Experience in managing roles, permissions, and interface configurations between clinical applications
  • Familiarity with forensic psychiatric processes and organizational structures is highly desirable
