Job Summary

As a Lead Electrical Engineer, you will take charge of the electrical engineering discipline within complex industrial projects, specifically focusing on the chemical, petrochemical, or refinery sectors. Your daily responsibilities include basic and detailed planning, such as conceptual design, component sizing, and infrastructure layout. You will handle the technical aspects of procurement, from supplier negotiations and manufacturer documentation reviews to participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and supporting commissioning activities. A significant portion of this role involves leadership; you will guide and coordinate a team of specialist engineers to ensure project quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines. This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys a mix of technical design, commercial calculation, and team management. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or Pharmacy; or advanced technical training (Technician/Master Craftsman) in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in planning and project engineering within the chemical, petrochemical, or refinery industries
  • Professional experience in leading electrical engineering teams or disciplines within projects
  • Extensive experience in the technical processing of procurement, including supplier negotiations and documentation review
  • Demonstrated experience in conceptual design and sizing of electrical components (MSHV/NSHV)
