This role involves managing the financial controlling for the Youth and Family Department within the City of Bocholt. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring transparent financial management, preparing departmental budgets, and overseeing medium-term financial planning. Your daily tasks will include generating controlling reports, analyzing risks and opportunities, and coordinating extra-budgetary expenses and revenues. You will serve as a key advisor to the Finance and Compliance departments, utilizing structured statistics to drive decision-making. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Administration, Public Management, or equivalent; or qualification for the first entry level of career group 2 (LG 2.1); or successful completion of Administrative Course II (VL II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or financial management
  • Experience in budget preparation and medium-term financial planning
  • Proven ability in creating controlling, opportunity, and risk reports
  • Experience in coordinating investment measures and extra-budgetary accounting
  • Demonstrated experience in structured data evaluation and statistical reporting
